Our staff

The nursery supports staff continued professional development and encourages practitioners to embark on a range of different courses to aid their own development. The nursery currently employs staff who hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in childcare, however also  supports trainees and apprentices through their learning programme. Many of these learners finish their qualification and begin permanent employment at the nursery. We work alongside training providers to ensure learners are supported appropriately. The majority of our staff are qualified to a level 3 or above. This is a requirement for all staff.

If you are looking for a role in childcare, please contact the nursery for information of any upcoming vacancies. Should you wish to become part of our bank staff, please contact NHS Professionals on 03332 407 552 hello@nhsprofessionals.nhs.uk

Staff training

Staff access training sessions throughout the year which enable them to enhance their professional development. As well as those attending college or university days to gain their qualifications, all staff will have training sessions for safeguarding children, inclusion within the setting, first aid, behaviour management, fire/health and safety and manual handling.

Staff thrive from accessing training sessions provided In house, by the NHS or Local Authority.

Testimonials

R is leaving nursery to start school.

He has made many good friends, enjoyed learning with the teachers. Good development according to his age.

I had a peace of mind that my child was cared for and looked after. The nursery has helped him in all his development milestones - from language, potty training, use of cutlery, healthy eating habits, sleep training.

We have great appreciation for all his teachers but I would like to specially mention Hanna who was instrumental in getting him settled in the nursery.

We recommend Jack In The Box nursery.
