Nursery Manager: Rebecca Croft

Rebecca qualified as an NNEB Nursery Nurse from Reading College in 1995 and has worked continually in the private day care sector since qualifying.

When the nursery opened in 2003 she was the Third In Charge and the Team Leader within the 2 to 3 year olds room. By 2006 Rebecca had become the Deputy Manager and she has now been managing the nursery since June 2013.

Rebecca holds the following qualifications, NNEB, Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, NVQ Level 3 Introductory Certificate in Management, NVQ Level 3 in Management and Essential Skills for new NHS Managers.

Nursery Deputy Manager: Louise Wye

Louise has worked at Little Dragons since the nursery opened in 2003, completing her NVQ childcare qualification at the nursery. Louise has since gone on to gain NVQ’s at Level 3 and Level 4 in management and most recently completed the NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership.

Early Years Professional and Team Leader for the 3-4 year olds: Michelle Foster

Michelle has worked in the nursery since 2007. She was employed as a Nursery Nurse and worked in the 3 to 5 year old room but has now also had experience working throughout the nursery in all of the rooms. Michelle is the nursery SENCO.

Michelle qualified as a Nursery Nurse, DCE Level 3 Diploma in 2004 at Reading College and worked in another private day care setting following her qualification.

In recent years Michelle has completed a Bachelor of Arts Children’s Development and Learning in 2011 (BACDL) and gained the EYP, Early Years Professional Status in 2012.

Team Leader for the 2-3 year olds: Christine Garcia

Christine has worked at Little Dragons since the nursery opened in 2003 and was the Foundation Team Leader in the 3 to 5 years room for a number of years.

She has now been team leading the 2 to 3 year room since 2013. Christine also takes a keen interest in children’s nutrition and recently completed a training course ‘Diet and Nutrition for Children’ Level 3.

She is an NNEB Nursery Nurse and has completed a Level 4 in Management.

Team Leader for the under 2’s: Kirsty Elmore

Kirsty has worked at Little Dragons since 2007 when she completed NVQ Level 2 and 3 in child care.

Since then Kirsty has had experience with all age groups at the nursery and has been a very steady member of the team.

Kirsty has been team leading the Green Room since late 2017 and has completed an introductory course in Team Leading.
