Funded only attendance

Your child will be able to start their free place from the beginning of the term after their 2nd birthday Free early learning for 3 and 4 year olds

All 3 year old children are eligible to receive a free early learning place for 15 hours per week from the term after their third birthday. Some children are eligible to receive 30 hours funding per week, for more details please see the Childcare Choices website.

Funded only attendance of 15 and 30 hours per week is available but places are very limited so please contact the Nursery Manager to discuss.

This attendance is term time only in line with the Slough Borough Council term dates and in addition there are five inset days per year which are chosen by the nursery. Therefore children attend for a total of 38 weeks / 570 or 1,140 hours per year.

**We currently have vacancies in our Builders Room only for 15 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9.45am-2.45pm**

Please contact the Nursery Manager Richard Wheeldon on 01753 635480 to discuss this.

Meal times are a very important part of the day and, depending on the times that your child attends Jack In The Box, we provide breakfast between 7.30am - 8.00am, a snack at 9.00am, lunch starting at 11.30am and tea at 3.15pm. Children in the Builders Room are required to bring their own packed lunch.

The staff are encouraged to eat with the children to promote interaction, improve social skills and to encourage good table manners.

Testimonials

My little one has learnt to speak full sentences and I am most astonished to know and see him finding and having good friends.

I have always felt that my little one is in good hands and taken care of at Jack In The Box.

I have always felt that each and everyone in S's room was helpful even if the member of staff was from a different class.
