Apprenticeship opportunities
- Earn while you learn: Our apprentices work alongside experienced practitioners, gaining hands-on experience while studying towards nationally recognised qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare).
- Mentoring & support: You’ll be supported by a dedicated mentor and our friendly team, helping you develop the skills and confidence you need.
- Career progression: Many of our apprentices go on to secure permanent roles and progress to senior positions within our nurseries.
Ongoing training & development
- Regular training: All staff receive comprehensive training in Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene, Safeguarding, Child Protection, Fire Safety, and more.
- Professional growth: We encourage and support staff to pursue further qualifications, including NVQ Level 4 and 5 in leadership and management.
- Learning environment: Our nurseries are places where staff share ideas, attend regular training sessions, and learn from each other.
All staff attend Basic Life Support training (NPALS) with the Trust’s Community Resuscitation Facilitator every year.
