Our playrooms and garden area
Little Dragons is arranged into three playrooms, each designed for a specific age group, plus a large garden with dedicated areas for babies and nature play.
- Babies: The baby room is a safe, comforting space with sensory activities and gentle care, and direct access to a dedicated baby garden.
- Toddlers: Our toddler room is designed for active play, discovery, and building friendships, with plenty of opportunities to explore the outdoors.
- Preschool: The preschool room offers a stimulating environment for learning, creativity, and preparing for school, with regular use of the nature garden.
Children move through the rooms as they grow, with routines and activities suited to their developmental stage.
The setting supports children with additional needs and/or disabilities and those who have English as an additional language.
Outdoor space
The outdoor area includes a specific baby garden in the centre and a nature garden at one end, providing opportunities for all age groups to enjoy fresh air, physical activity, and nature-based learning. Children take part in gardening, seasonal activities, and outdoor exploration every day, whatever the weather. Toddlers and Preschool benefit form canopied free flow spaces accessible directly from their playrooms.
